# Customizing the UI

The PC ships as a compiled interface in `web/build`. Most of what you see can be changed without touching it.

| City name, organisation, OS name, monitor label | `Config.Branding` ([Branding](https://docs.aps-store.com/assets/aps_cityhall/configuration-files/config.lua.md)) |
| Screen size, welcome screen, monitor frame | `Config.UI` |
| Which apps are on the desktop, default wallpaper and colours | `Config.DesktopApps`, `Config.DesktopDefaults` |
| Any text, date or money format | `locales/ui/<code>.json` ([Localization](https://docs.aps-store.com/assets/aps_cityhall/guides/localization.md)) |
| Inventory item icons | `web/items/*.svg` |
| Phone app page | `web/phone/` (plain HTML, no build step) |
