# Installation

> Install aps_banking step by step: dependencies, stopping your old banking script, database, items, start order and checking the branch locations.

Follow these steps to get aps\_banking running on your server.

## 1. Download Resource

Download the purchased resource from [**CFX Portal**](https://portal.cfx.re/assets/granted-assets), the official FiveM site for purchased resources.

Put the `aps_banking` folder into your `resources` directory. **Keep the folder name**: other scripts call its exports as `exports['aps_banking']`.

## 2. Install Required Dependencies

| **ox\_target** / **qb-target** / **sleepless\_interact** | Optional | Without one, a built-in prompt is used |

## 3. Stop your old banking script

> [!WARNING]
>
> Only run one banking script. Remove the old one from `server.cfg` **before** you start `aps_banking`: `esx_banking`, `qb-banking`, `Renewed-Banking`, `okokBanking` or similar.

If you are moving from qb-banking, Renewed-Banking, okokBanking or qb-management funds, follow [Migration](https://docs.aps-store.com/assets/aps_banking/guides/migration.md) after the first start.

## 4. Database

> [!TIP]
>
> **Nothing to import.** Every table is created automatically on the first start. The database user needs the `CREATE` and `ALTER` rights. `sql/aps_banking.sql` is there if you prefer to import by hand.

## 5. Add the items

Cards and receipts are items. See [Items](https://docs.aps-store.com/assets/aps_banking/guides/items.md) for your inventory.

## 6. Start order

ensure es_extended     # or qb-core / qbx_core

```

## 7. Check the branches

`Config.Banks` in `config/config.lua` lists the branches. Walk to each one once and adjust `coords` if the NPC doesn't stand where you want it on your map.
