# ATMs

> Configure ATMs in aps_banking: ATM models, card and PIN flow, cash deposits, quick amounts, session length and daily withdrawal limits.

ATM settings live in `Config.ATM` in `config/config.lua`. Players use an ATM through its model or by using a card item nearby. They pick a card, enter the PIN and can withdraw or deposit straight away. With one usable card, or when using a card item, the card step is skipped.

| `itemNeedsAtm` | A card item only works next to an ATM |

Withdrawals count against the card's daily limit, which resets at midnight (database time). The animation is set with `Config.AtmAnimation` in `config/config.client.lua`.
