# Accounts

> Personal, savings, shared and society accounts in aps_banking, with the IBAN format, transfer fees, shared members and society grade access.

Account settings live in `config/accounts.lua`. aps\_banking has four account types, and each keeps its money in a different place.

| Society | `esx_addonaccount` on ESX, otherwise `aps_bank_accounts` | Job or gang members with a high enough grade |

## Transfers

Money can move between all account types, and to any IBAN. Every transfer writes a paired entry on both sides. If the second half fails, the first is undone. Savings accounts only accept money from their owner.

Set a fee with `Config.Accounts.transfers.feePercent`. It is taken on top from the sender.

## IBAN format

| Token | Becomes |

| `{prefix}` | `iban.prefix` |
| `{#}` | A digit |
| `{A}` | A letter |
| `{X}` | A letter or digit |
| `{NAME}` | The job or gang name in capitals |

Letters that read like digits (I, O) are left out. Changing the format only affects new accounts.

## Shared accounts

The owner creates the account, adds members by the **server ID of an online player**, and removes them. Only the owner can rename or close it, and only an empty account can close. Removing a member blocks their cards on that account straight away.

`memberAdd` and `memberRemove` decide whether members may pay in and take out.

## Society accounts

The account appears for players in that job or gang who reach the grade you set. Bosses always have access.

## Frozen accounts

A frozen account can't send money. With `frozenAcceptsIncoming = true` it can still receive. Scheduled loan payments still run. See [Bank Admin](https://docs.aps-store.com/assets/aps_banking/guides/bank-admin.md).
