# FAQ

> Answers about frozen accounts, interest for offline players, stolen cards, default ESX inventories and running aps_banking next to another bank.

Answers to the questions server owners ask most often about aps\_banking. Can't find yours? Contact us on our Discord.

> [accordion] Does freezing a personal account lock the player's money everywhere?
>
> No. Personal money is the framework's bank balance. Freezing stops everything that goes through the bank: transfers, cards, ATMs, withdrawals and script calls through `aps_banking`. Scripts that change the framework balance directly are not affected.

> [accordion] Do interest and loan payments work for offline players?
>
> Yes. Both work on the database, also while a player is offline. After a restart or downtime they catch up on what became due, without paying anything twice.

> [accordion] Why doesn't a deposit made just before payout earn interest?
>
> Interest uses the lowest balance held during the period. This stops players from moving money in for one minute at payout time.

> [accordion] Can a stolen card be used?
>
> Only with the right PIN, and three wrong PINs lock the card. Turn it off with `Config.Cards.stolen.enabled = false`.

> [accordion] Why are cards on default ESX not tied to one item?
>
> The default ESX inventory has no item metadata. There, a card item stands for "my own cards", and stolen cards don't apply. With ox\_inventory and other inventories with metadata each item is one exact card.

> [accordion] Can I run this next to my old banking script?
>
> No. Two banking scripts will disagree about balances. Stop the old one first.
